On the morning of Thursday 8 June, fans will once again be able to get “up close and mechanical” with the F1 cars in the pits during the now-famous “Open House Day”. Several other surprises await the spectators in various entertainment spots around the site, including the Family Zone, located near the Family-Friendly Grandstand, where kids under 15 enjoy free admission, and seniors 65 and up can get tickets at half-price.
The “Place du 50e” in the heart of downtown
For the first time, the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada will be offering a public entertainment program in the heart of downtown. This will be the “Place du 50e”, which shall be inaugurated in the presence of drivers Lance Stroll and Romain Grosjean on Wednesday 7 June, at 5:30 p.m. This area, featuring entertainment throughout the weekend of the event, will be located at Dorchester Square, between Peel and Metcalfe, north of René-Lévesque.
